For your consideration in this lot is a collection of Bozeman, Montana Roundup Rodeo souvenir programs from 1942, 1947, and 1948. The first program is from 1942. This year's rodeo was dedicated to members of the Bozeman Junior Chamber, who were serving in the forces, "battling for the preservation of the American way of life (Sam Ford Montana Governor).” This program measures 11" x 8 1/2". The next program is from 1947, the 8th annual rodeo. This program also measures 11" x 8 1/2". The last program is from July 30, 31, and August 1 of 1948. This program measures 10" x 9 ¼". These programs have a wonderful look, one of another time. Bozeman was a town that came together for an event. The programs are filled with photographs and stories of people on the committees and participants. There are pages of advertisements from business in the community. Some of the names of people and businesses can still be seen today, such as Huffing, Dahl, and Sime. These programs range in condition from good to poor. Please see photographs for accurate assessment of condition.
