Featured in this lot we have an original Hercules Power company 1943 war bonds calendar. The calendar was made for 1943 as a way to sell war bond for the second world war. The piece shows a picture of soldier looking at his dog as he heads out the gate to join a group of soldiers heading off to war. The piece is marked with the dates 1918 and 1943 and marked in between with "Not This Trip, Old Pal" In the spirit of "We did it once; we'll do it again," Hercules dedicates anew its 1918 calendar, "Not This Trip, Old Pal," to Americans who are fighting and working for victory. The calendars where used to sell war saving bonds. The piece shows good condition with the front cover of the calendar still in place. Overall the piece shows good condition with some wear across the piece due to age. The piece measures 30 1/2" long by 13" wide.
