Featured in this lot is this 1945 first edition copy of “Son of the Wilderness” by John Muir. Muir was a Scottish-American naturalist who campaigned extensively for the preservation of America's wilderness lands. He co-founded the Sierra Club and is often referred to as the "Father of the National Parks". The condition of this book is good, showing slight wear to the edges and spine. The measurements of this book are 8 5/8" x 5 7/8".
