This is an excellent circa 1950's Bauman-Massa Jewelry of St. Louis, Missouri Cardinal ring set with London Blue Topaz and Diamonds in 14K yellow gold. . The ring features a polished and stamped 14k yellow gold ring band with a 'Cardinal' hallmark and shows a '14k' stamp next to the hallmark. The ring features a centerstone of London blue topaz gemstone that measures 6mm and set in a six prong low base head and shows the stone heavily abraded along girdle and has wear spots on the table. There are six genuine round cut diamonds surrounding the center stone that measure between 3.27 to 3.54mm with an approximate weight of 0.85cts and a clarity grade of I1 - I2 with a color grade of H-I. The piece comes complete with VDJ(Van Denover Jewelry) report and appraisal confirming the above info and giving a total value of $3,340.00. The condition of this ring is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. Bauman-Massa Jewelry was founded in 1882 by Samuel H. Bauman and Edwin Massa.
