The lot features a wonderful Mid-Century Modern circa 1950’s style 14K gold ring set Emerald and Diamonds. The piece comes with AIGL paperwork and shows a solid 14 karat yellow gold heavy setting stamped “14K” and “ADG” from the designer and shows a large 2.83 carat oval brilliant cut crown and step cut pavilion natural Emerald showing vivid green coloring. The center stone is four prong set and surrounded by a thick bezel set with diamonds and held by a ribbon like wide band that is artfully set tapering down the ribbon roll and band with baguette channel set diamonds in total showing 60 natural diamonds having a weight of 1.18 carats, very high clarity of VS1-SI1 and color of G-H. The ring comes with an AIGL (American International Gemological Laboratories, INC. a GIA certified gemologist) gemology report which confirms the above information and gives a value of $12,324.00. The ring shows a weight of 7.3 grams in yellow gold along with 4.01 carats of precious gemstones in a size of 7 US.
