For your consideration is this 1951 U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service sign, printed by the U.S. Government Printing Office. The sign shows green lettering at the top reading, "Green Forests Give Us Strength!" The sign shows a large picture of a forested area and smaller pictures of a water damn, a fisherman in the river, a church in a town, and a boat at the dock. Towards the bottom of the sign it reads, "Remember - Only You Can Prevent Forest Fires". The very bottom of the of the sign reads, "U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service / Displayed In Support Of The Nation-Wide Cooperative Forest Fire Prevention Campaign / State Forest Service" in black lettering. The sign shows good condition for its vintage age with no signs of wear or tears present. The sign is set on cardstock and plastic wrapped to ensure the sign was kept in good condition. The sign measures 18 3/8" L x 12 7/8" W.
