Featured in this lot we have a Pioneer Surgeons of the Woman's Hospital by James Pratt Marr and originating from 1957. The book was printed by F. A. Davis Company located in Philadelphia. The book covers the stories for four surgeons working at the Woman's Hospital during the during the last half of the 1800's. The book is signed in the front twice, once in 1963 and again in 1991. The book features numerous photographs and images of doctors, patients, and tools in the book with descriptions and notes. The piece shows a brown fabric cover with a sleeve case showing a image of the hospital on it. The book shows good condition overall with some light wear due to age. The piece measures 9 3/4" tall by 6 1/4" wide and 3/4" thick.
