Featured in this lot is a Kodak Retinette IA Typ 042 film camera. The Retinette 1A is a series of rigid-bodied 35mm viewfinder cameras made in Germany by Kodak AG. They were produced from 1959 to 1966 and had several different versions throughout the years. This particular model was produced between January 1961 through February 1963 and used a Schneider-Kreuznach Reomar 1:2.8/45mm lens. The camera comes in its original leather case made in Germany and has a feature so you may screw your camera into the case. Overall, the camera shows good aesthetic condition, but has not been tested. The camera outside of its leather case measures 5" L x 2 1/2" W x 3 1/4" H.
