For your bidding pleasure is this 1966-1982 Fenwick Fly Rod Model SF74-4. According to Johnson's (Fenwick) book, this was a spin/fly combo pack rod. It was seven feet long and took a 6 weight line for fly casting or used 2--6 lb test for spinning (1/8-3/8 oz lures). This model was introduced in 1966 and appeared as late as the 1982 catalog. The rod apparently got heavier over the years: in 1970 it was listed as weighing 3 7/8 oz, but by 1982 it weighed 5 1/2 oz! The pack length was 22 inches. The rod is in good condition and each segment of the rod fits nicely into the next, also all of the eyelets are in good working order. The rod also comes in a Fenwick rod case.
