Featured in this lot is this 1968 Mexico 25 pesos XIX Olympic silver coin. The coin features a wonderfully and professionally crafted silver construction that shows the face of the minted commemorate of the XIX Summer Olympic Games held in Mexico City showing an indigenous Aztec ball player and reads as follows: Juegos De La XIX Olimpiada Mexico 1968. The opposite side shows the traditional Mexican Coat of Arms and reads as follows: Estados Unidos Mexicanos with the 'OM' mark for Mexico City Mint. The condition of this silver coin is well preserved with some patina adorning the face of the coin but otherwise shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this coin is 1 1/2" x 1 1/2". The collective weight of this coin is 22.8g.
