Featured in this lot is this hard cover copy of “The Illustrations of Frederic Remington”. The book contains over 200 illustrations with commentary by Owen Wister, as well as a biography and account of Remington's work, edited by Marta Jackson. The illustrations are separated in thirteen categories, including "He Knew Horses", “Football, Fishing and Hunting”, “People”, “Bull Fighting”, “Architectural Studies and Landscapes”, “Animals in the Wilds”, “Cavalry”, “Soldiery Artillery”, “Fighting the Indians”, “Cowboys and Vaqueros”, “Men in the Wilderness”, and “The Indian”. The book comes with its original dust cover. The condition of this book is well preserved with slight wear to the dust cover and shows some browning to the pages consistent with age but otherwise shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this book is 11 1/2" x 8 3/4". The collective weight of this book is 1lb 10oz.
