This is an excellent circa 1980's late-vintage sterling silver necklace with outstanding needlepoint turquoise pattern by noted Zuni N. Harry. The stones in jewelry by N. Harry, which is noted at being from the 1980's, are set with unique turquoise stones having a general needlepoint pattern with slight oblong diamond shape. This type of jewelry is also referred to as petit point, needlepoint, and snake eyes. This example shows a handmade sterling silver chain link strand with sterling silver gorget like pattern with rope silver and spots lined with bright blue needlepoint turquoise and dangling at the bottom a triangle wedge with six dangling sterling silver adornment paddles. The back of the piece is hand signed / etched, "Made by N. Harry". Truly a stunning piece with late-vintage circa 1980's age. The necklace measures 21.5"L end to end with the turquoise section being approx. 8.5"L, the steer horn or "U" shaped section is about 3.25" by 2" and the bottom triangle with drops is 3 1/8" by 1.75"W. Total weight of 68.1 grams.
