Featured in this lot we have an Italian made stainless model 1858 Remington 1981 commemorative revolver chambered in .44 caliber with reload kit and box. The revolver commemorates the 1981 International Association of Chiefs of Police. The revolver features a 7 3/4" long octagonal barrel, six shot solid cylinder, walnut grips, brass trigger guard, and etched sides. The sides of the frame are marked with leaf etchings and geometric designs across the back of the grip. The barrel of the revolver is marked on the left side in cursive reading "International Association of Chiefs of Police" with the right side marked "1981 Black powder Only .44 Cal" and the bottom of the barrel is marked "Made in Italy" with import stamps. The bottom of the grip is marked "IACP 0148 of 1000" and stamped with manufacture and import stamps. The revolver comes with a red felt interior wooden case with the IAC logo and compartments for the reloading implaments and the top marked with gilt gold lettering "International Association of Chiefs of Police 1981 Commemorative Model 1858 Remington Stainless .44 Caliber". The piece comes with a brass and copper powder horn, .44 cal lead balls, colt ammo cast tool, and a tin of percussion caps. The piece shows good condition overall with some light wear.
