For your consideration is this Emperor Penguin with chick bronze by Wyoming artist Bunny Connell circa 1984. The artist signature is on the tail and shows 6/12 and dated '84. Bunny Connell, Wyoming sculptor, looks almost exclusively to the animal world for her inspiration, portraying her subjects with great understanding and sensitivity. Her animals move with primitive force and stand with natural grace; especially the way they react to their environment without human interference. The condition of this bronze is good with no obvious signs of damage, there is a nice spotty patina to the marble base and a sleek patina adorning the bronze itself. The measurements of this bronze are 16" x 10" x 9 1/2".
