Featured in this lot is a limited edition reproduction print by renowned Montana artist Gary Carter titled "Bachelor's Quarters". Gary Carter is one of the most renowned Western & Native American artists of the past thirty years. Gary Carter is a West Yellowstone, Montana artist. He is a part of the Cowboy Artist of America and was adopted by the Crow Tribe and Real Bird Family and made a member of the Big Lodge Clan, given the Indian name of “Eagle Man”. This is a wonderful reproduction showing bachelor's quarters - referring to a "hole" or a park hole where a bull elk can paw down to the cured grasses under the snow...Bulls prefer their own gender to hang out with at this time of the year so it is not unusual to see a bunch banded together. This print comes with two Certificates of Registration & Authentication, as well as an artist's commentary. The print is signed on the bottom right hand corner "Gary Carter" and is numbered 237 out of 850. Overall this print is in good condition with no signs of damage. The art measures 17 1/2" L x 35" W. The total print measures 21 1/2" L x 39" W.
