Offered for public sale is this phenomenal acrylic on canvas by Don Eddy titled, Memory and Imagination 1989. The piece is from the Edward Bazinet 5-6 Ranch Collection and was found to be valued at $15,000 by New York Art expert and dealer Josh Holderman. The piece was purchased (presumably for $15,000) from the Nancy Hoffman Gallery in New York, New York and measures 80” by 80”. Done Eddy was considered one of the first Photo Realist artists however has his recent work delves into the realm of metaphysics. This is of a wonderful acrylic on canvas painting, showing different kinds of food all surrounding a picturesque view of the Mountains. The condition of this stretched canvas work is good with no obvious signs of damage, showing slight surface dirt along the border. The measurements of this painting are 80" x 80" canvas. Provenance: From the prominent Ex-art collection of Edward Bazinet, the founder of Department 56, the piece was proudly displayed at his 5-Bar-6 Ranch in Paradise Valley Pray, Montana where a portion of the movie, A River Runs Through It was filmed.
