Featured in this lot is this Quinault Northwest Coast Indians coil basket. The basket shows reed core formed between the Raffia to bring about the shape and size. Raffia is made from the transparent outer skin of the Raffia Palm leaves, which is then peeled and dried. The pattern is called a sunburst pattern and was made in November of 1999 by weaver Harvest Moon. The condition of this coil basket is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this coil basket are 3 1/4" x 7 1/2" x 7 1/2".
