Featured in this lot we have a 19th century Afghan Jezail flintlock camel musket with a .72 caliber barrel. The musket features a 37" long octagonal barrel, inlaid hardwood stock, ornate trigger guard, and flintlock action design. The stock is inlayed with geometric brass designs and bands with wonderful patterns of inlayed shaped mother of pearl. The trigger guard features ornate etched designs with the lock plate marked with a rearing lion. The hammer and trigger are functional with the hammer displaying a heavy spring. Overall the musket shows fair condition for its age with some of the inlay missing and some damage due to age. No serial number. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
