Featured in this lot is this collection of Arctic Expedition literary master pieces circa 19th century - 1927. The first book is "Arctic Explorations vol. II" by Dr. Kane circa 1856. The second book is titled " Letters From High Latitudes" by Lord Dufferin and is considered a first edition. The next book is titled "English at the North Pole" by Jules Verne and is undated but believed to be a first edition. The last book is the most collectible reference literature on Artic Exploration called Under Sail in the Frozen North by Commander F.A. Worsley D.S.O. and is a first edition. The condition of this collection of Arctic expedition books is well preserved with some of the cloth wrapped covers showing wear along the spine and corners and all four books show browning to the pages consistent with age but otherwise shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this collection of books ranges from 7 5/8" x 5 3/8" to 9 1/4" x 6 1/2". The collective weight of this collection of books is 6lb 4oz.
