Featured in this Canewhip Co. Ohio buggy whip cane or walking stick patents circa 1891 & 1892. The buggy cane whip or walking stick features a wonderfully and professionally crafted cane core with stitched wrapped leather that shows inscribed metal head and tip of the cane. The canewhip is marked as follows:l Patent Canewhip Co. - Springfield, Ohio - Pat. Sep. 8, 91, Sep. 20, 92. The condition of this Canewhip Co. buggy whip is well preserved with some wear to the leather stitched wrapping of the cane stick and shows some patina adorning the head and tip of the canewhip but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this canewhip is 36 3/4" x 7/8" x 7/8". The collective weight of this canewhip is 4oz.
