Featured in this lot is this Cherokee portrait steatite pipe bowl circa 19th century. The pipe bowl features a wonderfully and professionally crafted steatite construction that features a delicately carved of a Native man's head with a headdress carved into the top part of the bowl. The condition of this carved figural pipe is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this pipe are 2 3/4" x 1 1/2" x 5 1/4".
