For your consideration is this pair of 19th century copper dovetail hanging kettles. The kettles both show a continental design to the dovetail joint bodies of the kettles themselves with hammered and rolled lips to the mouth of these kettles. The larger kettle shows a copper handle while the smaller kettle shows a wrought iron handle. These hanging kettles would have been used over an open hearth and would hang from a hook. The condition of these of these hanging kettles is good the large kettle shows slight denting to the rolled lip of the kettle, and both show patina to the inside and the outside of the kettle. The measurements of this 7 1/2" x 9" x 7 3/4" and 8" x 10 1/4" x 8 3/4".
