The lot features a unique 1890’s carved wood mirror club with inlaid mirror, heart cutout and incised carvings from the Prairie Indians from the Ghost Dance Movement. The dance club is carved from solid wood with a tapering pattern and sawtooth back showing an inlaid mirror with carved wood raised border and held into place with Indian hide and horse hair. There is a weeping heart cut out at the center and pierced hole at the top with Indian hide tie showing old trade beads in chalk white pony and catlinite. The entire front shows a flowing Elk Dream like incised cared pattern with painted finish in red and green mineral paints. The back has a small symbol carving.
