Featured in this lot is this large Sanctus "Que-Me-Tangit-Vocem-Meam-Aud" monastery bell circa 19th century. The bell features a wonderfully and professionally crafted brass construction that shows carved floral and portrait designs with the words "Que-Me-Tangit-Vocem-Meam-Aud" which loosely translates to (Whoever touches hears my voice) embossed into the top of the bell. The condition of this monastery bell is well preserved with some dings to the ring at the top of the bell and a patina adorning the bell floral decoration but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this bell is 8 1/2" x 5 1/4" x 5 1/4". The collective weight of this bell is 2lb 10oz.
