Featured in this lot is this Ca. 19th C. Mexican Vaquero silver mounted braided snake spur. The spur features a wonderfully and professionally crafted stainless steel and silver mounted construction that shows a shaped snake design to the outside of the spur and to the spur strap button showing silver mounting with a six tine rowel with a heavy frame. The silver mounting design streams throughout the whole frame and on both sides of the spur. The condition of this condition of this single Vaquero spur is well preserved with some oxidation of the spurs but otherwise shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this spur is 7 1/4" x 4" x 3". The collective weight of this spur is 1lb 8oz.
