The lot features a 19th-century Navajo Moki Blanket from ex-John Moran Auction. The finely woven textile exhibits Germantown purple, black, red, and cream / white wool, with two stacked serrated diamonds on a stripped ground, the corners with conforming rows of serrated motifs. This is truly a stunning and finely detailed blanket with Germantown wool in the highly collectible Moki pattern which could also be categorized as a Men’s Serape or Chief’s Blanket.

Condition: With dust accumulation and typical signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Issues include, but not limited to: scattered stitched repairs at center, the longest measuring 9" long, scattered areas of loose weft revealing holes between the warp, mostly to central diamonds, scattered spots to side B, and breaks to edges.
