Featured in this lot is this Navajo Third Phase Chief's Blanket circa 19th century formerly from a March in Montana sale. The blanket features a wonderfully and professionally crafted wool construction that features a classic Chief's Blanket decoration with banded dark brown and light brown that fades to light brown and heathered grey giving off the optical illusion the central design is on top of the bands.
