Featured in this lot is this "The Neverout," Insulated Kerosene Safety Lamp circa 19th century. The safely lamp features a compartment to hold kerosene shows at the bottom or base of the lamp and shows textured red and green glass along the sides and shows a magnifying glass to the face; the lamp features a clamp that extends to fit on bicycle handle. The top of the lamp reads as follows: The Neverout - Trademark - Insulated Kerosene Safety Lamp - Patented - Rose Mfg Co. - Philidelphia U.S.A. The condition of this kerosene lamp is good shows some cracking to the magnified glass featured in the front of the lamp ad shows a significant amount of patina but otherwise shows good overall condition. The measurements of this lamp is 6 1/4" x 3 3/4" x 3 1/4".
