Featured in this lot is this Obertino Fondeurs Labergement cowbell circa 19th century. The cowbell features a wonderfully and professionally crafted brass and leather construction that shows a thick harness leather strap with a brass bell attached that shows a pleasant ringing sound when struck. The front of the bell is marked as follows: Obertino 8-0 - Fondeurs - Labergement S Marit. The condition of this cowbell is well preserved with the hallmark slightly worn and a patina adorning the bell and the heavy leather strap but otherwise shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this cowbell is 22" x 6 3/4" x 6 3/4". The collective weight of this cowbell is 6lb 8oz.
