Offered in this lot are two large Chinese Qing Dynasty male and female ancestors portraits. The portraits appear to be from the early 19th century. The portraits on paper are mounted on silk broadcloth as hanging scrolls. The portraits are done in ink, with bright colors and gold paint on paper with very good detail. The portraits on paper measure 31" x 56". The scrolls measure 77 1/2" x 36" and are on a wooden roll bar at the bottom with cording for hanging in display on the top. The male ancestor holds a fan with characters that show the family name. These scrolls are in good condition with minor wear. Please see photographs.
