For your consideration is a late 1800s U.S. Cavalry brass belt buckle and a leather wrapped glass flask. The brass belt buckle is marked "U.S." and shows a nice patina and verdigris. This style belt buckle was commonly seen worn during the Indian Wars. It is in great condition for it's age and use. The leather wrapped flask shows a dark leather around a glass container. The removable leather cap has a cork to seal the lid. The leather shows signs of age with dryness and cracking around the seams and surfaces, there is appears to be no damage to the glass flask. The exact age of these pieces are unknown. The buckle measures approximately 3"x2" and the flask measures 10 1/2" x 5" x 3"
