Included in this lot is a pair of B. D'Arte F. Conz sailing ship paintings originating from the 19th century. The pieces display masted sailing ships painted across wood boards. The first of the ships displays a two masted clipper with a nice red hull and two flags on the masts. The piece is marked "B. D'Arte F. Conz 1841 The Fast Shooner Clipper "Aurora"". The second painting is of a large, two masted ship with numerous sails and a row of flags across the back mast. The piece is marked "B. D'Arte F. Conz 1866 - The Two Masted Ship "Perica"". The boards show fair condition overall, with some wear and scratches across the faces of the art. The boards measure 17 1/2" wide by 13 3/4" tall.
