Featured in this lot is a pair of B. D'Arte F. Conz sailing ship paintings originating from the 19th century. The pieces display masted sailing ships painted across wood boards. The first ship displays a wonderful sleek design with a single mast and four sails across the top of the ship. The piece is marked "B. D'Arte F. Conz 1836 The Thames Barge "Heda" London". The second piece displays a large, two mast ship with numerous sails and a row of flags off the back sail. The piece is marked "B. D'Arte F. Conz 1850 - The Beautiful Shooner Pir Lancelot". The pieces show good condition overall, with some light wear across the edges of the art. The boards measure 17 1/2" wide by 13 3/4" tall.
