The outside edge shows old 19th Century Czechoslovakian bugle tube beads. The piece is accompanied by an original 19th Century hand forged, crude frontier trade knife that shows a hammered spine with bowie like blade with two piece hardwood grip scales held into place with iron rivets. Provenance: Found to be an authentic 19th Century Cree example by the experts at Morphys / James D. Julia. Sheath measures 13.5”L x 6.5”W with fringes, body by itself is about 11 7/8”L x 3.75”W.
