Featured in this lot we have a collection of Sioux Native American metal arrowheads originating from the 19th century. The set was collected from old trading posts and forts and includes 20 arrowheads, 1 spear head, a sharpening stone, a US token, and some other metal pieces. The collection shows good condition overall for their age. Provenance: From the renowned Sundog Fine Art Bozeman, Montana collection and collected by Bruce VanLandingham. Bruce VanLandingham was a pillar in the American Indian collecting community and a respected expert. Along with being an avid collector Bruce also was the sole owner of Sundog Fine Art Gallery in Bozeman which was both part museum and gallery. The largest of the displays measures 12 1/4" long by 8 1/4" wide.
