Featured in this lot we have a collection of Sioux Native American metal arrowheads originating from the 19th century. The set was collected from old trading posts and forts and includes 20 arrowheads, 1 spear head, a sharpening stone, a US token, and some other metal pieces. The collection shows good condition overall for their age. Provenance: From the renowned Sundog Fine Art Bozeman, Montana collection and collected by Bruce VanLandingham. Bruce VanLandingham was a pillar in the American Indian collecting community and a respected expert. Along with being an avid collector Bruce also was the sole owner of Sundog Fine Art Gallery in Bozeman which was both part museum and gallery.
