Featured in this lot is this 19th century U.S. Cavalry bridle bit marked 'AH.' The bridle bit features brass U.S. cavalry emblems on both sides of the bridle bit and features a maker’s mark of 'AH' on the inside of the side pieces of the bit. The condition of this cavalry bit is poor, with heavy oxidation due to the item’s age and exposure, but it seems to be in working condition. The measurements of this bit are 9 1/2" x 5 5/8" x 2 7/8".
