Featured in this lot we have a vaquero D-guard hand sword originating from the 19th century. The blade shows steel construction with tooled designs across the back of the blade. The guard is made of similar steel with the grip made out of bone with two etched rings around the top of the handle. The piece shows fair condition overall for its age with some pitting and wear across the blade. The piece measures 21 1/4" long overall with a 16 3/4" long blade.
