This 1800's piece features beautifully turned legs and arm supports, and the back shows smooth dowel supports across, with a wide upper back rail. This piece, likely to be found in a railroad or trolley depot, is primarily constructed of wood with sturdy metal support arms underneath the bench. The bench seat appears to be one solid plank. Originally painted black, this item shows signs of age and use on the surfaces, but is in good structural condition overall considering. It measures approximately 96"L x 33"H x 17.5" seat height, and is 14.5" deep.
