Included in this lot is a hardcover 1891 first edition of "Recent Indian War Under the Lead of Sitting Bull and Other Chiefs with a Full Account of the Messiah Craze and Ghost Dances" by James P. Boyd. The book provides a comprehensive account of major battles fought with the Native American Indians in the late 1800's. The book contains numerous illustrations and features a brown cloth gold gilt cover and spine. The book shows good condition overall, with some light wear across the cover and spine. The book measures 7 5/8" tall by 5 1/2" wide by 1 1/2" thick.
