For your consideration in this lot we have a hardcover first edition of "Red Men and White" by Owen Wister. The book was printed in 1895 The book contains eight stories of the western frontier involving U.S. Soldiers and Native Americans. The piece contains sixteen illustrations drawn by western artist Frederic Remington. It shows a red cloth cover with black lettering and the image of a cowboy across the front cover and an Indian chief in headdress on the spine. The book shows good condition overall with some light wear on the cover but the spine and pages inside are in very good condition. The book measures 7 1/2" tall by 5 1/4" wide and 1 1/4" thick.
