Featured in this lot is this 1947 first edition copy of Twenty-Two Caliber Varmint Rifles by Charles S. Landis who is also the author of .22 Caliber Rifle Shooting and Hunting with the Twenty-Two. This book is a compilation of information for the purpose of acquainting gunmakers, sportsmen, and riflemen with the possibilities of the .22 caliber as a hunting arm and for target work and testing. The condition of this book is fair to good with some wear to the outside cover and spine and shows some browning to the pages consistent with the age but otherwise in fair to good overall condition. The measurements of this book are 8 3/4" x 5 3/4" x 1 1/8".
