Featured in this lot is a rare first edition of "The Boy General; Story of the Life of Major-General George A. Custer" written by Elizabeth B. Custer and published in 1901. The book is a wonderful biography of the famous Indian fighting general who was killed at the hands of Indians at the Battle of the Little Bighorn on June 25, 1876. The book features a decorated cover and spine with numerous illustrations throughout. The book was published by Charles Scribner's Sons located in New York, Chicago, and Boston. The book is the account as told by Custer's wife, Elizabeth B. Custer. This book is in good condition with little to no signs of wear despite its vintage age. All interior pages in great condition with strong binding. The measurements are 7 1/4" L x 5" W x 1/2" D.
