Featured in this lot is this 2.50 carats emerald, diamond, and platinum ladies ring with AIG paperwork. The ring features an electronically tested platinum ring with a sunburst arching lattice under gallery and a 'PT950' on the inside band of the ring. The center stone is a prong set, rectangular step-up cut, natural emerald that measures 9.30mm x 6.65mm x 4.53mm, has a 6% bulge factor, an approximate weight of 2.50 carats, and a moderately included clarity; the stone is considered Type III medium dark and has moderately strong and very slightly bluish green coloration. The stone shows indications of oil residue and was graded in setting. The center stone and sunburst design to the lattice is decorated with 54 prong set round brilliant and baguette cut diamonds with an approximate weight of 1.04 carats; the diamonds were graded in setting with VS-2 to SI-2 clarity and coloration of G - I. The piece comes complete with AIG (American International Gemologists, a GIA certified lab AIG Appraisal Number#: 000716008020) report and appraisal, confirming the above info and giving a total value of $9,950.00. The ring size is US 6 1/2.
