Included in this lot we have the 20th and 26th annual Bureau of American ethnology reports from 1898 to 1899 and 1904 to 1905. The reports where sent from the Bureau to the secretary of the Smithsonian institution. The 20th report shows 461 pages, with numerous black and white photographs and text illustrations. The 26th annual report shows 512 pages with 47 pages of black and white photographs near the center of the book with many other photos and illustrations. The 20th and 26th Annual Reports of the Bureau of American Ethnology to the Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution 1898-1899 and 1904- 1905 is published Government Printing Office Washington 1903 and 1908 first printings. The books show good condition overall with some light wear indicative of age. The covers measure 11 3/4" tall by 8 1/4" wide with them measuring 2 1/4" and 1 3/4" thick respectively.
