Featured in this lot is this Navajo and Southwestern jewelry collection circa 20th century. There is one bracelet, 3 earrings, and a spider pendant in this collection. The bracelet is constructed by Navajo artist Josiah Smith from sterling silver with twisted rope border to the face and oval jet cabochon set into the same face and is marked underneath as follows: JS - Sterling. The earrings feature framed sterling silver running horses with two of the three missing the earring clasp or necklace chain. The last piece is wire and trade bead construction in the likeness of a spider. The condition of this of this collection of jewelry is preserved with one of the oval cut cabochon missing from the bracelet and the horse earrings are missing two of the earrings clasps. The measurements of this jewelry collection range from 1 7/8" x 2 5/8" x 3/4" to 5/8" x 1". The collective weight of this collection of jewelry is 33.3g.
