Featured in this lot is this tooled salesman sample saddle purse, circa 20th century. This purse shows an iconic, professional sale-making quality salesman sample mounted on a tooled leather purse. The purse shows western floral tooling and is stitched together with horsehair and sinew thread and buck stitched with leather. The purse shows brass buckles and latches, as well as brass rivets. The condition of this purse is good with wonderful attention to detail on the small salesman sample style saddle and the integrity of the sinew sewn and buck stitched edges that hold the purse together. The measurements of this purse are 13 1/2" x 12 1/4" x 4".
