The rug features a fine and detailed hand-woven design, bright colors, and very tight weave. The rug was handcrafted in the coastal town of Hereke, located in Turkey. The Hereke rugs are known for their detail and high thread count. The silk displays detailed design and wonderful shine to the rug. The piece displays a wonderful tight geometric floral pattern, with the border showing floral designs and a medallion at the center. The piece shows a tight weave with a beautiful white color and red, tan, light blue, blue, burnt orange, and green. The rug shows good condition overall, with tassels across the ends. The rug measures 30" wide by 49 1/2" long.
