Offered in this lot is a 2600 B9 Egyptian hand carved Shabti (funerary figurine). Shabti are small figures of adult male or female form, or figures, to carry out heavy manual tasks in the afterlife on behalf of a person they were buried with. This Shabti style is from the 25th Dynasty. This Shabti has been broken and repaired. The Shabti measures 6 1/2" x 2" x 1".
