Featured in this lot is this ex-museum or collection 4 1/8" Cache River projectile point 8,500 to 6,000 B.P. The projectile point features a wonderfully and professionally knapped chert material construction that shows a triangular side notch point that shows rounded shoulders and a recurvate stem that flares to the shoulders. The blade is serrated and the cross section shows a semi cluster formation. The condition of this projectile point is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this projectile point is 4 1/8" x 1 1/2". The collective weight of this projectile point is 38.5g. The point is marked with an ex-museum or ex-collection number as follows: 95532.
