Featured in this lot is this 4 7/8" Adena Projectile Point circa 3500 to 1500 B.P. and aged from the Late Archaic to Woodland Period and was displayed in the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. The point shows a large, thin ovoid shaped blade with a flattened cross section, an excurvate shape that's broad, and a convex base. The point shows random flaking patterns from a flint material and shows a banana like shape in the cross section. The condition of this projectile point is well preserved with a single chip missing from the right shoulder but otherwise shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this projectile point is 4 7/8" x 1 7/8". The collective weight of this point is 80.2g.
